Republic Day is being celebrated in honor of the date, on which the Constitution of India came into force. On this particular day, the Government of India Act (1935) replacing as the governing document of India. On this day, ceremonious parades take place at the Raj path(New Delhi) which are performed as a tribute to India; its unity in diversity and rich cultural heritage.
In this year in our college NSS decided to take the opportunity to celebrate this auspicious day to make all students of the institute to take pride on our constitution. In line of this, NSS volunteer Mr. Chandan Singh approached institute head with the roadmap of the programme and got permission with positive notes from the head of institution.
Success of any programme greatly depends on the decision making machinery (head of institute) and then real executing part (NSS Volunteers). In this case both were in line with proper simulation, so success had to come.
As per the latest circular forwarded to schools from the government of Gujarat, the flag should be hoisted along with the girl to promote girl education and save girl child movement of government. So institute gave this pride to one of senior girl student of institute.
At 08:45 am, all students along with Katpur primary school and villagers assembled in college premise. With command by Chandan Singh, the flag hoisting had done followed by March past, oath of constitution for better future of nation and cultural programme.
