Whether it’s the duckface smirk or the coyly suggestive close-up, selfies are a mainstay of Twitter and Instagram. Technology affects societies in the development of advanced economies, making life more convenient to more people that have access to such technology.  Selfie challenge, the idea that you need a justification to be seen. Combining these to famed Words, Venus International College of Technology has organized a selfie competition with theme of Technology. Two of its sister concern colleges named Arihant School of Pharmacy and Bio-Research, Adalaj and Venus Institute of Design & Architecture, Venus Education campus, also participated in the competition.

At 2:30 PM on 30^th September, More than 700 Students took their selfies as a part of competition. All of them were very excited in taking their selfie. Few students made their group and took pictures. They had very innovative ideas for theme, i.e to use technology in selfie.

Winners of the competition will be declared on 5^th October 2015 based on maximum like on social media of all three Institutes.
